Baby chicks in Zebras!

This week Farmer David delivered some eggs to the children in Early Years. We have looked at them in the incubator and have been waiting eagerly for them to hatch. The eggs started to hatch on Wednesday night. The children in Zebras have had a chance to look at and hold the chicks this morning. We absolutely loved them – so cute and fluffy!

Eid Festival

We are delighted to share with you all that the total money collected from the donations at our Eid Festival was £362.18.

This money is going towards the Khizra Mosque and our families have suggested this will go towards the Communities4all initiative, to help local people of all backgrounds and beliefs. This includes food parcels, activities for adults and children and events such as health checks/talks etc.

Here is the link to the organisation:

Thank you again to all our families for helping us plan and organise such a successful Eid Festival!

Eid Festival

Last Thursday, 18th April, we celebrated Eid by hosting an Eid Festival in school, organised by our wonderful families at Bowker Vale and supported by our EDI team. We would like to thank our families for planning and organising such a wonderful event! Everyone had a great time! We can not wait to work alongside our families next year to help us celebrate Eid.

King Charles Display – Year 5

We have a beautiful portrait of our King to display and need some wonderful pupil work to go alongside it.

Can Year 5 children write a letter to our King? What would you like to say to him? Do you have any questions to ask? Do you think he is doing a good job so far? Do you want to send good wishes for his health at the moment?

If your letter is chosen to display, it will be seen by all of the visitors that come to school.
