In Nursery we had a special visit from the chicks. It was really exciting being able to see them hatching from their eggs and become very fluffy. The children were then able to stroke and hold them using very gentle hands and some of them even had a little nap whilst being held! It was such a lovely time had by all.

Wow, what a busy week we’ve had.
We had a lovely visit from the farm, keeping healthy and fit with Freddy Fit and had fun dancing and playing games at our EID party. Well done to Rakeem for winning the Red Nose Cake competition.
Also, we have worked really hard in all of our learning and enjoyed our first week back to school.

Holi is a Hindu festival that celebrates spring, love, and new life.
Some families hold religious ceremonies, but for many Holi is more a time for fun. It’s a colourful festival, with dancing, singing and throwing of powder paint and coloured water.
Holi is also known as the “festival of colours”.
The Nursery children pretended to throw coloured paints at each other and danced to some traditional Indian music!
