We enjoyed meeting and feeding animals, a tractor and donkey ride, a delicious ice cream and a play in the playground.

Reception were very excited to do a muddy maps session at Heaton Park, exploring signs of spring through nature.

Hazel class enjoyed sharing their books with the Reception classes. The younger children really enjoyed listening to the stories and year 5 loved sharing them.

We had a wonderful morning in reception welcoming our families in for mothers day crafts, songs and play!

We have bene waiting for the bulbs we planted in Autumn to flower and finally they are here. We learnt about the different parts of a plant and used watercolours to paint them.

The Children in Honeysuckle have had a very busy and muddy week whilst exploring plants. They also had a fantastic time celebrating world book day and creating their very own bookmarks.
Daffodils have used the book “I can draw worms” as inspiration to draw Long and Short worms in maths.

This week in Honeysuckle the children have been creating their very own story maps, as well as helping each other practice tricky words- what a fantastic job they have done!
