The children in 3M had a wonderful WBD. They enjoyed some time relaxing in the library, made monster book marks and even read underneath the tables!

World Book Day in 3A!
We had a wonderful day celebrating books and stories for World Book Day! We made our book marks, designed our own front covers and did some adventurous reading on the Vale Trail!

Our Voice Matters
In our PSHE lesson the children looked at things that matter to to them the most, they put these in the middle of the spiral. As they worked their way to the outside of the spiral they thought about things that matter to them on a bigger scale, such as protecting the environment and helping the local area.
Measuring length
Today the children made meter sticks and measured different objects around the classroom in meters and centimetres.
3A Forest School
We have thoroughly enjoyed our forest school sessions over the last few weeks! Our favourite session was when it snowed and it turned Narnia into a winter wonderland!
Maths in Year 3 with Explore Learning
Yesterday Tom from Explore Learning came in to Year 3 to teach us all about coordinates. We used our knowledge of north, east, south and west to navigate our ship to the treasure without hitting any rocks!
Forest school
The children enjoyed their last session of forest school, even if it was wet and windy. They enjoyed exploring the river and hot chocolate under the shelter.
Explore learning
Today the children in year 3 had a visit from Tom from Explore Learning. We learnt all about coordinates and navigated our way round a treasure map! Well done everyone, you worked really head!
Children’s Mental Health Week
As part of Children’s Mental Health Week the children have been enjoying taking part in lots of brain breaks such as body percussion, My Inner Being time, the Daily Mile and mindfulness colouring.
