Good afternoon everyone and well done for completing your first full week of home learning.
Children in Need
Children in Need is a charity run by the BBC. The charity’s mission is to ensure every child in the UK is safe, happy and secure, and has the opportunity to reach their potential.
There is lots more information and inspirational videos on their website:
I have attached two optional activities for you to complete, to give you the opportunity to discuss Children in Need with your adult at home.
End of Week Celebration
The SSC team are so impressed with all of the children’s hard work this week that we wanted to celebrate it!
As you may know, some of the children in the SSC class are learning in the classroom at the moment and some are working from home.
We just wanted to say a huge well done to everyone for accepting that things are a little different at the moment and we can’t wait to have everyone back together in class.
Also a big thank you to all of your adults for helping you with your home learning.
Here are some photos from this week’s home learning. We received lots of great maths work, fantastic maps and images of yummy cooking! Great job everyone.
The children worked really hard creating picture collages of the journey from the house to the park.
The children were very excited to complete their first cooking lesson in the school’s new kitchen classroom. All of the children in the SSC will have a chance to experience the kitchen in the next few weeks.
Well done everybody and keep up the good work!
