Last week the children had a Indian Dance lesson with Amy. They learnt lots of different dance moves and thoroughly enjoyed their party dance experience, as you can see by their smiling faces!

Year 6 had a wonderful visit to Manchester Art Gallery this week, where both classes explored various pieces of artwork around the gallery. 6P were then taken on a journey exploring the story of Pandora’s Box through drama! 6T worked with artist Sam Owen Hull creating their own pieces of artwork inspired by contrast.
We have been learning all about map symbols and how to read maps in our new Geography topic ‘What makes Manchester great?’. We’ve always loved orienteering, but today the children set up their own orienteering course, plotting a long and winding rascal of a route around the school complete with questions and clues, to see if their friends could follow.
