1H combined PSHE and PE this week. Last week we discussed what ‘healthy foods’ are and how we can stay healthy. This week we looked at how exercise keeps us healthy. We talked about the benefits on our hearts, body and how it stops us getting poorly.
We did a couple of minutes of exercise to gets our hearts racing and then stretches, like in yoga, to use our muscles.
Finally we talked about working as a team and what that means. The children decided it was working together, helping each other and doing the same thing. We played a game in little teams, to see who could work well together to get a hoop from one end of the line to the other whilst still holding hands.
