Your reading task today involves finding imperative (bossy) verbs in a set of instructions. There’ll be endless examples online (try wikihow), but how about reading a cook book and creating one of the recipes?
Imperative verbs clearly tell you what to do. For example, in the paper plane instructions for today’s Science, you are told to make, fold, open and turn. When you’ve make one plane think about air resistance – as your plane flies, the air ‘hits’ it and slows it down. Can you change your design to reduce air resistance and make it fly further?
