Hi everyone. I hope that you all had a lovely 2 week break with your families and are ready for some fantastic learning again.
Here is your new timetable for this week and I think you are going to love it.

The day starts with some peer passage. If you click on the link below you can remind yourselves of some of the strokes that we have used or even learn some new ones. You could even try using some of the strokes in a story or make up your own. What a relaxing start to the day!

After it is time to get practicing your handwriting. Log onto letterjoin on a computer or tablet or ask your grown up to help you with some of the strokes. Remember to always start from the bottom and check that your letters are sat on the line.
Next it’s time for maths. For this challenge you need to have a go at this 3D shape sorter game.

Once you have finished why don’t you go on a 3D shape hunt around your home or garden and see if you can find any real life 3D shapes.

For your writing challenge I would like you to write a letter to a friend from school. You can then give it to them when we are all back. You could tell them about what you have been doing at home and some of your favourite activities. Myself and Miss Smith would love to read them too.
After lunch we have some fun science to do. First I would like you to watch these clips about light and shadows.

Then I want you to try and make some of your own shadow creatures using your hands. We are very lucky at the moment as the sun is shining, so with a grown up find somewhere safe outside and have a go at creating your own.

We hope that you have a fabulous day year 3. Please don’t forget to email us any picture or pieces of work to ….year3@bowkervale.manchester.sch.uk
We absolutely love hearing from you all.
