On Friday 8th November, Year 3 participated in a Greek afternoon. As part of the afternoon, we learnt about when Ancient Greece happened by creating a human timeline looking at some significant dates in history. The children then learnt some interesting information about the Greek Gods and Goddesses. We then used some drama to create a tableaux to imitate the Gods and Goddesses. The children were then able to try some different Greek food including olives and Feta cheese. We finished our afternoon by learning some Greek dancing. Overall, we all thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon.
