Remembrance day

This is a poem to remember the soldiers who gave us freedom that we still enjoy today

The rotting bodies and rivers of blood

The gruesome trenches filled with mud

The soldiers spread liberty and fought the great fight

Fighting with great bravery and all their might

The atrocious war was a deathly sight

Knowing the circumstances, they went to fight

Each person fighting for their side

Continuing after many people died

In Flanders Fields poppies dance

Between the crosses for remembrance

Since they have passed we shall grieve

Remember their beloved relatives they did leave
