Netball Competition

What a fabulous netball competition it was last night! Children from years 5 and 6 played netball matches with lots of other primary schools in Levenshulme. When the team arrived, we did some training exercises and ball passes. There were a few slight changes, due to typical Manchester weather (rain!) ,however this didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of everyone taking part. At approximately 16:10, the children started their first game. Five against five! Miss White umpiring! Here we go..! After a nervy start, the children settled into the game brilliantly. All children were marking their opponents, intercepting the ball and playing well as a team. Team Bowker Vale lost their first game by a goal, which was very unlucky considering how well they all played. The team went on to win a match. They should be incredibly proud of their effort as a team! Well done team BV! Look forward to the next game!
