In art, Hazel class have been drawing pictures inspired by LS Lowry, using vanishing points and perspective. Today, we started painting them with watercolours! 🎨

Hazel class’ perfect parachutes! 🪂

Hazel class did a super science experiment today in order to test the effects of air resistance. Each group tested a different variable! For example, one group made different sized parachutes and one used different materials. We had lots of fun seeing which parachutes fell the quickest!

Yellow Brick Road visited Year 5!

Hazel and Rowan class learnt all about Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot with Yellow Brick Road! We acted out the plot, and also created a sound poem inspired by Bonfire Night!

Hazel class had a fantastic time today celebrating World Mental Health Day! We wore yellow, did a relaxing self-massage, and focussed on the present and our well-being.
