Year 2 are currently learning about lifecycles and how animals change over time. We have also been learning about a different offspring and we were very excited to meet some today! We will enjoy seeing how the tadpoles change over time!
What a great time we had doing Freddy Fit! We loved the activities. We danced, exercised and were resilient with our hula hoops!!

Year 2D have been using their science and PSHE lessons to help them complete a healthy food plate. We have looked at the food groups and discussed the importance of a healthy, balanced diet!
2D loved getting involved in science week. Their task- Could they make a sand timer to last exactly one minute?

Year 2 loved orienteering to find out information all about Heaton Hall! The children found in 1772 Heaton Hall was built and this was part of the Georgian Period! Many more facts were found along the way by combining their map reading skills to find the fact cards!
Year 2 had a great time in the forest today (despite the rain)! We enjoyed linking this to our science. Are things alive, dead or have they never been alive?
Year 2 have enjoyed learning about the 7 Continents and 5 Oceans of the world! They have used an atlas to locate them on a map!
