As part of their Geography unit the Year 1 classes went to visit Heaton Park. They used a map to locate features of the park.
They followed the map beginning at the main entrance past the Tram Museum on to the Somme Memorial and then to Heaton Hall and past the Animal Centre.
Aren’t we lucky to be so close to this fantastic park?
