5A visit the Museum of Science and Industry

Before the half term break, Year 5 were invited to take part in a project and visit the Museum of Science and Industry as part of the Manchester Science Festival!

We were very excited to take part in their project titled ‘Future Humans’. We thought about what the future might look like and decided to focus our thinking onto the future of wildlife photography and conservation.

Each class worked as a team to design a camera which would be able to montior the movements of an endangered animal. We researched the animals and their habitats, thought carefully about our designs and created our own prototypes.

It was incredible to see our work displayed at thr Museum of Science and Industry for everyone to see! We also got a sneak peak at the brand new exhibitions including Turn it up: The power of music!
