This week in Year 4, we have been finding out about a new text called ‘The fantastic flying books of Mr Morris Lessmore’.  It is a short film and a book. So far, we have only watched the very beginning of the story.  We begun by listening to the first 3 minutes of the text and we decided what we thought was happening, based on the sounds.  We then watched the first 3 minutes of the text and found out that there was a tornado!

The next day, a tornado struck our class room during lunchtime!  The children wrote, edited and filmed live news reports about the events.  These films will be uploaded soon, please check back to watch the children’s live news reports to find out more.
