Thank you so much to Mrs Barbara Jackson, a local neighbour who goes above and beyond in our community. We have worked with her to litter pick, plant seeds and generally do our bit to try and keep our community looking good!
Mrs Jackson has bought for us this wonderful figure of a lone soldier and metal poppies to help us remember at this thoughtful time of the year when we spend time thinking about how we remember and saying thank you.
Our Year 6 children will be visiting the meadow in Blackley Forest, as we do every year on Friday 11 November at 11am to share some poems with our community and to mark the 2 minute silence. We will be there at 1.45am and you are very welcome to join us.
Thank you again Mrs Jackson, this soldier will help us to remember and say thank you for many years to come.
