Year 6 are currently working on a biology unit in science which focusses on the circulatory system. As part of their work, they got their hands dirty with some practical science…dissecting hearts! This helped them to better understand the function of the heart and the role it plays in the circulatory system. This activity generated lots of funny faces, and lots of questions too! All the children really engaged with the session sensibly and safely and we are very proud of them for doing so!
Wow, what an interesting lesson!
