6D’s Fire service ‘Summer Safety’ Visit

Today 6D had a visit from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service. The children were given information about how to stay safe over the summer. They were spoken to about 999 hoax calls, water safety and grassland fires. The children were lucky enough to sit in the fire engine and be shown the equipment that is used by them. Whilst they were visiting, the firemen got an emergency call and had to leave school using the blue lights and sirens. Thank you to the fire fighters who came to visit. The children really enjoyed it.
