Year 1’s Spring Walk

On Monday Year 1 went on a spring walk around Bowker Vale. Firstly, we talked about what signs of spring we thought we might see and then we went to explore.

It was a beautiful sunny morning, the perfect spring day, when we found trees starting to grow blossoms, lots of pretty daffodils, purple crocuses and even little daisies growing in the grass.

We were surpised to find a secret fairy door near the entrance to the forest school site Pixie Hollow. When we began to walk through Pixie Hollow there were lots of lovely fairies which we picked to keep. We were able to take our fairies home to put in our gardens to help them grow!

The last surprise was when we got back to our class and there was a fairy door with pink fairy dust. We think the fairies want to visit us to see our lovely learning.

We will now write a recount about our exciting spring walk.
