In Year 1 we have been learning about addition in our Maths lessons. We have been finding the total of two groups of objects and writing the number sentence with answer.
This week your homework is to explore this with house hold objects. Gather two groups of objects and count the total number altogether.
Here are some examples.
Make sure when you are doing this you are SAYING what you have discovered by saying the number sentence out loud. E.g, 4 + 4 = 8
Then, like on the picture example above, have a go at writing the number sentences in your red homework books.
