Year 3S homelearning Wednesday 11th November

Good morning Year 3S,

Firstly I would just like to say a big WOW and THANKYOU for all your hardwork and resilience so far!

We are going to start our day with another Supermovers dance. It is very important especially in our current situation to stay active!

For today’s math task we are going to continue looking at our timestables.

Use this video to practice your 8 times tables:

For today’s Reading task we are going to be using adjectives and expanded noun phrases to describe a picture.

You could use the adjectives word bank in your Just In Case pack for some ideas.

I would start by making a wordbank of adjectives and then putting some of them into a sentence. Extra challenge: Can you use a theasaurus or an online theasaurus to find a new and exciting piece of vocabulary?

For today’s History task we would like you to research the Stone Age. You could set it out like the worksheet below, or create your own fact file.

Here are some videos to help:

Remember to send your work to class3s@bowkervale.manchester.sch.uk by 2:30pm and myself or Mrs Rowley will respond.

We hope you have an amazing day and remember..

Miss Smith
