Today Year 3S had a brilliant day in our Narnia site where they explored part of Blackely Forest. They learned all about the River Irk, what an evergreen tree is and even got to cross the Troll Bridge!
They then had a go at using their teamwork skills to climb some steep (and quite slippery) hills. I was very proud of their communication and teamwork skills, well done Year 3S!
Some of the children made a den using twigs, leaves and branches found on the forest floor and at the end of the session we all enjoyed a hot chocolate and a biscuit.
