Good morning everyone.
We hope that you are enjoying our reading week as much as we are.

During your reading time today why not try listening to J.K Rowling reading the first chapter from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
For your grammar challenge we would like you to spot the spelling mistakes in the sentences below.

For maths we are going to be applying our knowledge of place value. Good luck. If you get stuck then why not look back at the post on Monday, as there was lots of top tips for understanding place value on there.

After maths we would like you to write a book review. Here are some ideas of how you could set it out. In your book review don’t forget to tell the reader what the story is about, who the main characters are, who you would recommend it to, where it is set and how many stars you would award it.

Finally after lunch we have a super fun activity planned for you. We would like you to make a movie trailer for a book.
Over the years some really famous books have been made into films. Here are some movie trailers for Roald Dahl stories like Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the BFG.

iMovie is a great app to use to make your trailer, but don’t worry if you haven’t got it on your device. You could just film yourself telling the listener all about this new film and what happens, but remember don’t give too much away. The whole point of a movie trailer is to try and entice people to go to the cinema to watch it.
We hope that you enjoy the activities today, learn lots and most importantly have lots of fun.
