Welcome to fabulous Friday. I hope you have all enjoyed the lovely weather we have had over the past couple of days.
Once again, the SSC class have been super busy completing lots of exciting activities and taking part in Bowker Vale’s sports week. We have also received lots of great home learning from William too! Well done everyone! Which activity has been your favourite?
Next week, we will be starting our new book ‘All My Treasures’ by Jo Witex. Today’s learning challenge is to write some short sentences to explain what you think the story might be about or to describe the front cover (I have attached a picture below). Use your imagination and inference skills to help you! Also, don’t forget to start each sentence with a capital letter and end it with a full stop.
In the SSC we work really hard to practise our multiplications regularly because “if you don’t use it you lose it!”, as Miss Allely would say. For today’s home learning I would like you to complete the summertime colour by calculations attached below.
You have all worked extremely hard this week and we are very proud of everything you have achieved this term, we are over half way through now! Over the weekend I want you to think about all the reasons you should be proud of yourself. What activities have you completed? How have you been kind to others? What have you enjoyed the most? You can jot these ideas down on a mind map, draw a picture or simply write in the comments below! You are all fantastic and have accomplished lots of things you should be proud of, no matter how big or small.
Have a great weekend everybody,
The SSC Team
