Good Morning and welcome to terrific Tuesday. We hope that you had a great first day back yesterday and enjoyed the learning activities.
Yesterday was very busy in the SSC. We listened to the story ‘The Dot’ and thought about the characteristics Vashti was showing when she didn’t give up with her painting. We talked about the different times all the children in the SSC have shown persistence and not given up. What do you think of our dot paintings which we created yesterday?
Today’s learning

Maths
This half term we are going to be focusing on geometry. We will be thinking about the properties of both 2d and 3d shapes.
Today we are going to be thinking about 2d shapes and what their properties are. We will be looking for examples of these shapes in real life.
Challenge: Can you remember the names of any 3d shapes? Can you find examples of 3d shapes anywhere at home?
Have a great day.
The SSC team.
