How does it make you feel?

Realization
Clinging desperately to the frozen rope, I focused on being positive; yet the longer I dangled there limp and helpless the more certain it seemed that I would meet my end . The icy wind cut into my face, my lips were numb, my eyelashes thick with frost . What was Finnick doing up there? Suddenly the rope vibrated, then snaked violently causing me to glance in horror at the bottomless pit of ice yawning below…
From the corner of my eyes, two atrocious men accompanied me [looking fiercely at me like I was a pathetic looser]. All of a sudden , I was thrown and I could feel my asthma kicking in.
All I wished for was that my brother was beside me for comfort and support, but that in this case was impossible, as he had just abandoned me. In my veins rushed determination and anxiety and  I forced myself to look behind me, but I could not face the truth . Alex was staring straight at me with a grin and a grenade clutched tightly in his hand. He pounced …
