Happy May Day

Good Morning Reception, here is your timetable for the week. I really hope you like the activities that we have planned for you this week.

Today is May Day, May Day is a holiday that celebrates the return of Spring. It usually takes place on May 1 or the first Monday in May. Many people celebrate May Day with festivals or flowers. One of the oldest May Day traditions is the maypole. Here is a link to Espresso to find a little bit more out about the celebration. https://central.espresso.co.uk/espresso/primary_uk/subject/module/video/item1002188/gradef/module986746/index.html?source=search-all-all-all-all&source-keywords=may%20day

One of your daily activities is to make a May Pole, you could do this as big or as small as you like. Here are some pictures to give you some ideas.

Keep up the AMAZING work, we can’t tell you enough of how proud we are of you and your grown ups!

Love from Mrs Mottershead, Miss Jones and Miss Carling.
