Welcome to the start of a new (but still very different!) term

Good Morning!

I hope this post finds you and your families well and coping during these unprecedented times.

You will know that the Government has announced that UK lockdown restrictions will continue for at least another three weeks. From today, Monday 20th April, Bowker Vale Primary School will continue to remain closed to all pupils except children of Key Workers and some children who have additional needs.
We all know that this is a challenging situation and I would like to thank you all again for your continued patience and support during this difficult period.

Teachers will continue to provide daily work on the school blog.

As we know we have at least another 3 weeks away from school, it is really important that children are doing some learning at home. Please encourage your child to follow the suggested timetable and activities posted below.

Before the holidays we spoke with almost all of our families. This week our Teachers and Teaching Assistants will be making phone calls to you to speak with your child to see how they are doing! They will be asking about work completed so far and what your child has enjoyed or found difficult during lockdown. Please allow your child to chat independently to the familiar adult, it is important that they have an opportunity to be heard. Please note it is very likely that calls will be from a withheld number.

For now, stay safe and take care of each other. The school office is open each day from 9-3 if you need us.
