This book is by Rudyard Kipling and the illustrator is Mike Spoor. It’s a fiction and an adventure story. The setting is the jungle and the village. The main character  is Mowgli and Shere Khan. Shere Khan is a mean fierce character and does not like Mowgli. My favorite character is Mowgli because he causes no harm and wants to stop Shere Khan and his wicked ways . This book makes me want to think what is going to happen next and once you have read the book you end up feeling curious. Mowgli is a kindhearted , friendly friend. When Mowgli was young he was captured by Shere Khan. Mowgli was then raised by animals. Shere Khan died by a mighty ,strong stampede . I would rate this book 5/5 because it’s perfect for young kids . 🙂 🙁 The characters through out the whole story are Akeela , Shere Khan , Kaa , Mowgli  , Bagheeera and even Balloo. This book is really good and i really hope you enjoyed reading my book review,of the jungle book.
