• * they speak French, Fon and Yoruba
• * The W-Arli-Pendjari (which is a national park) holds the largest population of lions in west Africa
• * In the countries culture it is considered bad to eat with your left hand ,or to offer something with it
• * The capital of benin, Porto-Novo is also known as Adjatche and  Hogbonou
