In year 6, we have been learning about World War One, as part of our topic we have also been looking at soldiers from Blackley and Manchester.It is important that we remember soldiers, who died during the War.First we went to an area with a lot of information about War, which was located inside the museum. After that,we watch a little movie about War and how it affected other people.We had an early lunch.Then we were lucky enough to gain information from a man, who showed us some equipment that were used in the War like grenade gas masks and etc.
