First of all, the mother duck makes a round,soft nest. As soon as, she has made she will make sure it is cossy and just right for her to lay her eggs.       

    Once she has got cossy in her nest, she will lay up to 12   round,delicate eggs.   she will sit on them for 4 whole weeks.

       After 4 weeks,12 little duklings in the eggs will start to peak with their little, sharp egg tooth.

When the ducklings are nice and fluffy they will follow their mother for 40 days.
