The stone age began when the cold , frozen ice melted . The only thing left was stone . The reason why it is called the stone age is because most of the things are made out of regular , cold piece of stone . The stone age people did not have shops they had to hunt . It is called a hunter gather . The hunter goes out with a spear or bow and arrow . the gather goes to a bush to look for berries or nuts incase the hunter did not catch a lot a food . The weapons they use are spears  , bow and arrow , throwing  stones , hammers and much more . They make there weapons by themselves using cole or somthing else . The animals they kill to eat are bears , fish , dear and bull also much more . Also they were fur pelts by the animals they use for there lunch .
