You will need

A clean one litre soda bottle

3/4 cups of water

vegetable oil

fizzing tablets

food colouring

First we poured water in to the bottle.

Next we used a meausrinng cup and slowly poured vegetable oil until its full.You may have to wait a couple of mintuets for the water and oil to seperate.

After that we added ten drops of food colouring(any colour). The drops will pass through the water and will pass with the water below. We broke a selzer tablet in half and then dropped it into the bottle.Me and my mum watched it sink to bottom.LET BLOBBY GREATNESS BEGIN.

Finnaly to keep affect we added the other half of the selzer tablet.For a true lava lamp effect, shine a flash light through the bottom of the bottle.
